Though he never raced himself\, Bill was deeply involved behind the scenes—supporting drivers\, helping crews\, traveling to tracks across multiple states\, and later guiding his son Jon through Go-Karts\, IMCA Modifieds\, and Limited Late Models. A true pioneer in the region\, Bill was the first to introduce a Crate Late Model when the class debuted in the Northeast in 2007\, fielding his iconic #14 for a long list of well-known drivers. His passion for racing became a family legacy that now carries on through his grandson\, Kyle Murray.
