DESCRIPTION:Come join us in greeting the new year with joy and fellowship! The Shire of Heronter cordially invites you to “The Wassail of the Wise Heron\,” our annual 12th Night celebration. It is a time to feast\, make merry\, and chase away the winter chill with the warmth of good company. \nPlease note that this is a dry site (no alcohol permitted) and no open flames are allowed. Please be advised that while all activities will be held on one level\, the Fluvanna Community Church does not claim to be ADA accessible. Our event will utilize the community center\, kitchen\, and connected restrooms\, not the full church. \nThe Feast: A Shared BoardThe heart of our celebration is a shared table. Our main dinner will be a grand potluck. We ask you to bring a dish to share\, and you are welcome to bring a snack or appetizer to enjoy as we gather. \nThe Gifts: An Exchange of Medieval TreasuresWe will hold a gift exchange to share in the spirit of the season.
