SUMMARY:42nd Annual Tour of Chautauqua Bicycle Ride
DESCRIPTION:42ND ANNUAL \nTOUR OF CHAUTAUQUA \nBICYCLE RIDE \nWESTFIELD\, NEW YORK \n25\, 40\, 75 & 100 MILE TOURS \nSATURDAY\, SEPTEMBER 13th\, 2025 \n\nJOIN HUNDREDS OF RIDERS FOR THE LARGEST AND BEST CENTURY RIDE IN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY\nTOURS: You may choose to ride any one of the four tours. The 25-mile tour follows the Lake Erie plain. Antique shops\, restaurants\, and wineries are on this tour. The 40-\, 75-\, and 100-miles tours feature a variety of flat roads\, hills\, lake views\, small towns\, and scenic areas of Chautauqua County.\nSTART: All tours begin and end in Westfield\, NY. Westfield is located 1.5 miles south of I-90 exit 60. All four ride routes start and end by Moore Park in Westfield at the intersection of routes 20 & 394 (Main and Portage Streets.) Check in and registration the day of the ride is between 7:30 and 8:45 am. Registration will be at the Eason Hall\, 23 Elm St. across from the park. All tours begin with a mass start at 9 am. Maps/narratives are provided the day of the ride.\nSUPPORT: Food during the ride is the responsibility of each rider. The tours pass through several small towns where food can be purchased. As part of your registration fee\, a sit-down meal will be provided at the finish across the street at the Episcopal Church. Water stops (with light refreshments) are provided along all the tours. Sag Wagons and radio people will be on all tour routes and will follow the last riders. Priority will be given to injuries or breakdowns. The rider and bike should be in condition to go the distance you select. Medical Information Stickers will be provided.\nCOST: Registration is $35 and must be received before August 20th to receive our traditional TOUR of CHAUTAUQUA T-shirt. After August 20th\, late registration riders will receive a TOUR of CHAUTAUQUA water bottle. DESCRIPTION:Part of the 2025 PAINT CHQ Mural Festival! An artist talk featuring professional muralist Dom Laporte of DRIFT Mural Co. from Ottawa\, Ontario. The talk will take place at 5 p.m. Tuesday\, September 9 at Eason Hall in Westfield\, NY. \nThe talk is a build up to the Mural Dedication\, happening in Westfield on Friday\, September 12 at 5 p.m. at Grace & Abe’s (14. N. Portage St.). \nAnnounced in February\, Paint CHQ is a new initiative intended to help focus on the important role public art plays in placemaking and strengthening local communities. For the inaugural year\, four communities have been selected to host the new murals: Dunkirk\, Falconer\, Sherman\, and Westfield. Coordinating the effort is Alexandra Hall from A H Public Spaces Consulting\, LLC\, who has assisted with other community mural project around the country. \nFunding for this project is allotted through CCPEG’s placemaking initiative\, and additional funding has come from grant funding through New York State Council on the Arts\, Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation\, Chautauqua Region Community Foundation\, Arts Services Inc.\, Ralph C.
