Early Education

This resources section will provide different ways to get assistance for your children from Daycare through high school graduation! There are amazing non-profits and government programs that you can tap into to help get financial support, mentoring, and tutoring.

Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)

The goal of the CCAP is to help Temporary Assistance (TA) and low-income families pay for child care to help them become self-sufficient. The income limit picture explains what limit you need to be below to be eligible for the program. There are other requirements explained below.

NYS Child Care, After School, and Parent Support Programs Locator

This locator provides listings and locations of child care, after-school, and home visit programs.


The first link will take you to the instructions tab of the website that explains how to use the locator, step-by-step. The second link will take you to the Learn More section which will give you more information about the locator, and more resources like Family Connects, Healthy Start, and Early Head Start (EHS).

Chautauqua Striders

This non-profit provides the Jamestown area youth with incredible programs to help them academically, socially, and physically.

 

The second link will take you to their academics section where you can learn about their tutoring program, SAT Workshops, and more. The third link will lead you to the mentoring program where you can refer a student or apply to become a mentor. The fourth link explains the SEL program and offers a referral link. The last link is to register for the athletics program, which is a track and field program for children ages 5-14.
