SUMMARY:J.U.M.P.™ Night (Agility Fun Run)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 3rd J.U.M.P.™ Run and summer fun at The K9 Complex! For just $5 per run (90 seconds)\, you and your dog can take the course at your own pace — run clean\, train in the ring\, or just enjoy some joyful practice with friends. Runs will be manually timed and casually managed. Participants should either currently be taking classes or have a minimum novice level experience. If you and your dog have not yet trained on obstacles (teeter\, frame\, dog walk)\, you can run the alternate numbered course without contacts for the safety of the dog. \nWe will do a course walkthrough at 6pm and 7pm. Dogs will run according to their jump height and will depend on participants. \nA portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to support the Small Town Shelter in Sherman\, NY. We believe in giving back to our community\, and we’re proud to spotlight the important work they do! \n* Dogs must be under control at all times and remain on-leash when not working* One dog in the ring at a time — please wait for the team ahead to exit* Toy and treat rewards are welcome in the ring (no food on contacts)* No reactive or aggressive dogs\, please* Potty your dog before entering the ring and clean up after your pet* Please bring water and shade for your dog as needed \nJ.U.M.P.™ Runs at The K9 Complex are fun\, low-pressure mock agility trials designed to give you and your dog real ring experience without the stress of formal competition. Whether you’re just getting started or polishing some skills for your next trial\, J.U.M.P.™ Runs help you train with purpose and compete with confidence. \n Who Are J.U.M.P.™ Runs For?• Dogs preparing for their first trial• Experienced teams building confidence• Handlers testing new skills in an outdoor trial-like setting• Dogs who need ring exposure in a supportive environmentThis is a great way to transition between your class\, practice and competition. \n What to Expect• A real course set up in our full-size outdoor agility ring• Dogs run one at a time in a safe\, fenced ring• Toys are allowed if you choose the “training in the ring” option• Treats can be used provided they do not crumble or are dropped on contacts or on the ground \n Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: What does J.U.M.P.™ stand for?A: Joyful.
