DESCRIPTION:In this artistic adventure\, we will read “For the Birds: The Life of Roger Tory Peterson” by Peggy Thomas. Roger Tory Peterson was an American naturalist\, conservationist\, citizen scientist ornithologist\, artist and illustrator\, educator\, and a founder of the 20th-century environmental movement\, where he was an inspiration for many. Peterson\, known for his sketches and paintings of birds and nature was born in Jamestown in 1908. It is a very simple technique that renders gorgeous results.
