DESCRIPTION:Join us at Lake Shore Center for the Arts for our 4th Songwriters Circle of the 2025/26 season on Thursday\, December 18th @ 7:30PM; featuring Molly Conrad (NY)\, Brooke Surgener (PA)\, and Rob Lytle (TX) sharing their songs and the stories behind the songs. The Songwriters Circle Series is presented by Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation. \nTo be considered for Songwriters Circle\, singer/songwriters can apply here. \nMolly Conrad \nMolly Conrad is an indie-folk pop singer/songwriter based in Buffalo\, NY. Originally from Iowa\, she spent a few years in Nashville recording and toured many parts of the U.S. as well as western Europe. She has four studio albums\, her most recent being “Light of the Dark”. Molly shares her many inner thoughts and relatable stories of heartbreak with honest\, introspective lyrics\, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar. Expect an unabashed authentic stage presence\, as Conrad loves sharing her truth\, however goofy or deep it might be. \nBrooke Surgener \nBrooke Surgener is an indie folk/pop artist from Erie Pennsylvania\, known for her bright soothing voice and performances that leave a lasting impact. Inspired by artists such as Katie Musgraves and Gabrielle Aplin\, the multi-instrumentalist writes from personal experience that connects the listener to a familiar feeling. Brooke’s most recent work is accompanied by expressive music videos found on her YouTube Channel. Songs like “Got It Good” and “In the Room” are a unique blend of indie vibes with catchy folk driven melodies. \nRob Lytle \nThe first thing you will notice is a voice that is effortlessly powerful and immediately intimate.  Rob’s voice has been compared favorably to artists such as Jackson Browne\, Jonathan Edwards\, and James Taylor for its unique clarity and seemingly effortless ability to navigate interesting melodies.  When combined with songs that move from humor to wry observation\, and to satisfying moments of recognition\, Rob has been described as “an irresistible artist\, the kind whose vocal tenderness and lyrical honesty compel you to listen.”
