DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Historical Museum of Dunkirk with our new exhibit about the achievements of local women. The display takes a look at the struggles of only a sampling of notable Dunkirk women\, including a determined women’s suffragist\, a nationally best-selling author\, a world-travelling lawyer\, an award-winning golfer\, and a much-beloved dance teacher\, plus a look at some local women’s organizations. Exhibit available during regular museum hours MWF 9a-12p\, W 4:30-6:30\, Sat 11a-2p at the museum at 513 Washington Ave\, Dunkirk\, NY 14048. For special tours\, please contact the museum directly. Admission is free\, donations gratefully accepted.
