It also won Honorable Mention in the prose category of the 2024 Association for Asian American Studies (AAAS) Book Awards. \nHe is currently at work on a third novel. This project has received monetary support from The de Groot Foundation and the New York State Council on the Arts. \nNishant holds a PhD in history from Columbia University where he was a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow. He also works as a ghostwriter for public officials\, CEOs\, and leaders across various industries. Before that\, she helped her sister build an outfitting business in the Pennsylvania Wilds. \nTa has been recognized nationally for being on the cutting edge of rural development. She and her team at the PA Wilds Center are building models for asset-based development thathave been recognized in ten state and national studies. Ta has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Communications from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
