DESCRIPTION:Join us for a camping weekend and a mountain biking extravaganza at Loud Performance in Bemus Point\, NY! \nDee from Loud Performance has once again graciously offered to host us on his property for a weekend of camping\, riding\, and bonfires. \nOn Friday\, we will have a late evening group ride at Loud Performance and/or Long Point State Park. Ride will start around 6:00 pm. Bring your lights! \nOn Saturday\, we will have group rides at Whalen Memorial State Forest. Rides begin at 11:00\, and we will meet at the new parking area on Eggleston Hill Road. There will be a beginner ride (8ish miles)\, an intermediate ride (12-14 miles)\, and an advanced ride (18+ miles). The rides will be a mix of singletrack and the Westside Overland Trail. \nOn Sunday\, we will have group rides at Harris Hill State Forest. Rides begin at 11:00\, and we will meet at the main parking area on Harris Hill Road. The beginner ride will be 8-10 miles\, the intermediate ride will be 12-14 miles\, and the advanced ride will be 20+ miles. The rides will be a mix of singletrack and the Eastside Overland Trail. \nThere will be a working outdoor shower and port-a-johns for those who are camping at Loud over the weekend. We encourage you to bring your own food and beverages\, but you can also grab dinner at the Green Door Tavern or at Guppy’s Restaurant. \nWe can’t wait to see you for this mega adventure in the CHQ!

DESCRIPTION:A Voice Fore A Child Charity Golf Tournament allows community members to come together for abused and neglected children while enjoying an 18-hole\, scramble format tournament. \nYou can help us reach our goal of providing a CASA volunteer to every abused or neglected child in foster care by golfing in or sponsoring the A Voice Fore A Child Charity Golf Tournament. \nThe tournament will be held on Saturday\, August 15 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Chautauqua Golf Club in Chautauqua\, NY. \nThis tournament will raise money to support our CASA volunteers including the recruitment\, training and support of new volunteers. Several members have already shared that this is their favorite book of the year!\nOur bi-monthly meetings are held in January\, March\, and May. July\, September\, and November.\nMembers\, in November\, select books for the upcoming year.\nMembers who recommend a book then act as discussion leaders.\nSo our meetings are informal\, fun\, and have an underlying structure.\nWe read a wide range of books. We revisit classics. We read from the bestseller lists and from the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle selections. DESCRIPTION:Corry-Jamestown Corp. was an office furniture manufacturing company located in Corry\, Pennsylvania. But it began in Jamestown\, New York\, and involved a number of people from around the country with connections to Jamestown and the metal furniture industry. Needing a factory building for the new company a factory was found in Corry and the company moved there in 1919 and the rest is history. Karen Livsey and Sam Genco will present. \nThe 2026 Fenton History Center Lecture Series features evening lectures between April and October. This event is free and open to the public. Lectures are held in the dining room at the Gov. Reuben Fenton mansion. They are also streamed via YouTube.
