DESCRIPTION:Join us at Lake Shore Center for the Arts for the April installment of the Songwriters Circle Series\, sponsored by Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation\, Thursday\, April 23rd @ 7:30PM and featuring singer/songwriters\, Jade Giambrone\, Chris LaVancher\, and Michael DeLano. \nTo be considered for Songwriters Circle\, singer/songwriters can apply here. \nJade Giambrone \nJade Giambrone is a spunky country singer/songwriter and recording artist from Cherry Creek\, NY. Her acoustic live set consists of performing eclectic music that spans multiple genres including country\, blues\, pop and captivating original songs. This spring you can catch her performing at several venues in the WNY area. She is very excited to be gracing the LSCFTA stage in April of 2026. \nChris LaVancher \nChris LaVancher’s performance evokes a mini-movie festival in your head\, complete with a full soundtrack. He writes cinematic\, character-driven songs.  His song Nostalgia from his second album\, Big Fat Love\, received an honorable mention in the 2018 Woody Guthrie Folk Festival Songwriting Contest.  In 2023 and 2014 Chris was selected as a Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist.  In 2024 he was a finalist in the Rose Garden songwriting contest \nChris grew up in a small town in the hills of North Central Pennsylvania where he learned to observe the many wonderful characters that inhabited that little town. Today he lives just north of Boston Massachusetts\, a Mecca for folk singers and songwriters\, but much of his inspiration still goes back to that little town in Pennsylvania. \nMichael DeLano \nMichael DeLano is an alternative rock singer-songwriter from Buffalo\, NY\, blending raw emotion with a modern edge. As the frontman of Sunday Reign\, he’s shared the stage at venues and festivals including South by Southwest\, Thursday & Main\, and Town Ballroom; \, earning a reputation for dynamic performances and an authentic connection with audiences. Michael’s music delivers anthemic hooks\, heartfelt lyrics\, and the kind of energy that sticks with you long after the last chord.

DESCRIPTION:The Opera House has partnered with the State University of New York at Fredonia’s School of Music to present a series of free-admission early evening recitals performed by the talented young artists studying there. \nThis series is a concert initiative created by Drs. Eliran Avni and Natasha Farny\, and in partnership with Director of Opera Studies Don Marrazzo\, that provides students the opportunity to perform in off-campus venues to a wider audience. Concerts typically feature instrumental and vocal solo and small ensemble performances. Music by both classical and contemporary composers is featured. Concerts are 60 minutes long and provide an opportunity to hear some of our area’s incredible emerging artists in the intimate setting of the Opera House. \nAdmission is FREE\, although donations are gratefully accepted
