DESCRIPTION:The New Neighbors Coalition and St. Luke’s Church warmly invite the community—parishioners\, neighbors\, and friends of all ages—to join us for a family-friendly cultural celebration of Purim on Monday\, March 2 at 6pm in the St. Luke’s Undercroft. \nPurim is a joyful Jewish festival that celebrates courage\, hope\, and the triumph of light over darkness\, rooted in the ancient story of Queen Esther. Through storytelling\, costumes\, food\, and laughter\, Purim invites communities to remember how faith\, bravery\, and solidarity can change the course of history. At St. Luke’s\, we offer this gathering as an opportunity to learn\, celebrate\, and rejoice together\, honoring our shared values of joy\, resilience\, and care for one another. Children are especially welcome\, and costumes are encouraged. \nThe celebration will include age-appropriate activities\, learning how to make hamantaschen and other festive treats\, music\, and storytelling moments that invite participation from the whole family. Members of the Winged Ox Players will stage the drama with audience participation\, bringing the story of Purim to life in a joyful and engaging way. \nThis event is cultural and educational in nature and is open to everyone\, regardless of background or tradition. Come celebrate joy\, friendship\, and the richness of our wider human family. \nDonations of $5-10 suggested to help offset cost of the event. However\, money should not be a barrier\, and all are welcome to attend regardless of ability to pay.

SUMMARY:A Christmas Stroll 2025
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Holiday Season with a Living Nativity\, complete with a camel\, all in the Village. Ellicottville’s A Christmas Stroll was created in 1987 by a group of citizens who wanted to organize such an event in the village. After brainstorming over coffee\, it was decided that they wanted a live nativity scene with children dressed as angels and shepherds\, who walked around the village and met at the gazebo. There\, the baby Jesus was presented and caroling presided. The tradition has continued on for the past 37 years.

DESCRIPTION:Something special is happening at the Little Theatre and we can’t wait to share it with you! \n\nOn Saturday\, December 13th we are opening our doors for a warm\, festive\, and free 2026 Season Preview and Holiday Celebration!\nThe lobby will be glowing for the holidays\, the theatre will be filled with music and cheer\, and you will be the very first to hear a preview of some of the shows coming your way next season. Doors open at 5PM and the Season Preview begins at 7PM.\nThroughout the evening we will have seasonal surprises\, guided backstage tours\, and a chance for you to see all of the progress happening behind the scenes. We will also be offering a one night only season ticket purchase and renewal deal for those joining us that evening.\nThis is our way of saying thank you and welcome back. We hope you will join us as we celebrate the holidays and look ahead to everything that is coming to our Little Theatre.\nWe are also thrilled to announce the first show of our 2026 season\, The Diary of Anne Frank. This powerful and deeply moving story invites performers to explore courage\, resilience\, and the human spirit. Auditions will be held on December 11th and 12th at 7PM at the theatre. The production will run from January 30th through February 8th and includes roles for both teens and adults. We encourage anyone who feels connected to the material to attend. Above all\, we are looking for performers who bring authenticity\, compassion\, and a willingness to bring The Diary of Anne Frank to life.\n\nMore updates will be shared throughout the week. We cannot wait to see you this week!
