Waterfront 5K Run and Walk with a Baby Crawl

The Waterfront Foundation is excited to announce its first annual community fundraiser, The Waterfront 5K Run & Walk, taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Wright Park in Dunkirk, NY.

TWF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds from this community event helps The Waterfront Foundation continue its work to strengthen public health by creating opportunities for wellness, connection, and a bright future for everyone.

Sign in and final registrations for the 5K on the day of the race will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the race starting at 9:00 a.m.

In addition to the 5K, families can also enjoy a Baby Crawl event during registration from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Participants will have the opportunity to register for the Baby Crawl as part of the morning’s activities.

We will feature a future pet area featuring the Chautauqua County Human Society and other animal rescues. This is a dog-friendly event. Pets are welcome to join the fun and may participate while following The City of Dunkirk’s park rules and guidelines for pets.
