Celebrate the changing of the seasons with indoor crafting and a cozy outdoor adventure inspired by Eve Bunting’s beloved children’s story, The Night Tree.

Participants will start inside, creating simple, wildlife-safe bird feeders using pinecones, birdseed, string, and other natural materials. Then, settle in for story time and enjoy a reading of The Night Tree by Eve Bunting.

After the story, the group will take a short hike to find the perfect tree to decorate with your homemade treats for the local wildlife. Wrap up the adventure with hot chocolate, tea, and snacks while enjoying the beauty of the season.

This program is open to all ages. The walk will be approximately half a mile on flat ground. Please dress for the weather.
