The Marvin House invites you to join us for our October Luncheon!
We are very excited to have BOCES educator, Julie Jaffy here with a presentation on Service and Therapy Dogs and Emotional support animals. Julie has brought a couple of her classes, and their canine companion, JJ Puddles to the Marvin House to tour and learn the history of our beloved Marvin House.
In the presentation we will discuss differences
between Service dog,Therapy Dog, and Emotional support animal. Julie will talk a little about her relationship with Jacob J Puddles. She will talk about the Therapy Dogs United organization, The Therapy Dog certification process, The expectations of a Therapy Dog, equipment and how JJ Puddles knows when he is working and when he is not working. Then we will end with Therapy Dog Bingo and prizes.
