The Great Family Nature Quest: A Summer Nature Bonding Program

The Great Family Nature Quest is a free summer program designed to strengthen parent–child connection through shared outdoor experiences. Families begin with a guided nature hike where they learn simple ways to calm their bodies, practice mindfulness, and engage in playful exploration in nature. After the kickoff event, families receive a Nature Quest Challenge—a series of fun, meaningful activities to complete together throughout the summer. These challenges encourage families to spend intentional time outdoors while building connection, curiosity, and emotional regulation skills. At the end of the summer, families who submit their completed quests receive a small prize and are entered into a drawing for a larger family prize. The program promotes healthy bonding, outdoor engagement, and lifelong coping skills in a fun and accessible way!

First Session: Saturday June 13 at 10am
Final Session (submit completed challenges), celebration picnic: Saturday August 8 at Noon.
