Tales of Wonder

December 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$5 – $8

For the first time in the United States, Tales of Wonder brings the holiday season to life in a magical, poignant, and nostalgic way. Comedic takes and dramatic moments. Historical pieces and contemporary dilemmas. Tales of Wonder is a unique theatrical show, which combines the best of show from three years of sold-old performances at the Penang Performing Arts Centre in Malaysia from 2015-2017. Now it is being presented for the first time in the USA and with new original music from South Korean composer Shion Beak.

A holiday show like no other. It will make you laugh. It will bring you to tears. It will make you think. Most of all, it will be an evening of theatre to remember. The show includes the award-winning If Love is a Crime – a poignant piece about a runaway slave in 1852 looking for shelter. It also includes Christmas in the Trenches, 1914 – a theatrical take on the true story of the WWI Christmas truce.
