Revitalize Dunkirk – Discovery Way Build Week

June 2 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Revitalize Dunkirk, the City of Dunkirk, the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation, and KABOOM! have come together to construct a new kid-designed community playspace at Point Gratiot Park that blends play and nature exploration for children and families in Dunkirk and the surrounding community. Designed with input from local students, the space will inspire outdoor activity, imagination, and a stronger connection to nature.

In order to bring Discovery Way at the Point to life we need to recruit a large number of community volunteers. There are a variety of ways to help at every ability level and you don’t have to be available for the entire work day.

All volunteers will be provided with a t-shirt, breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, and all necessary tools. Please meet at the Brooks Pavilion to sign in.
