Rescues Course

This rescues course introduces essential flatwater safety practices and rescue techniques that can be performed with a minimum of equipment, in the first few minutes of an emergency. We will work on solo and assisted rescues, including but not limited to: paddle float rescue, the scramble (aka cowboy/cowgirl), T-rescue, bow/stern rescues, paddle shaft rescue
The class runs from 10am until 4pm. Be sure to pack a lunch, plenty of water, and wear gear appropriate for being in the water.
