OP Art with Melissa Meyers

This FREE ADULT ART CLASS with artist Melissa Meyers will take a look at some famous optical illusion works by Victor Vasarely, the leader of the Op Art movement, diving into the realm of op art. We will study the use of line, contrast, and repetition creating an image that plays with the viewer’s perception and make the eye see movement and depth that aren’t really there. This class is geared towards middle school and adults, and requires no previous artistic skills, as participants will be guided step by step along the way, creating their own bit of visual trickery masterpieces.
