WHAT IS A MECHANICS RACE?
You’ve seen the drivers battle it out week after week…
But what happens when the people who BUILD and WORK on the cars get behind the wheel?
The Mechanics Race puts the spotlight on the crew members, wrench-turners, engine builders, fabricators, and behind-the-scenes heroes who keep these machines running.
Tonight they strap in to see which mechanics can turn left just as well as they turn wrenches!
Expect bragging rights, friendly rivalry, surprise talent, and plenty of “did you see that!?” moments.
This is always a fan favorite — and for good reason!
Also, the Economod Mania Tour will be making its 3rd visit to Stateline since its inaugural visit in 2025. The Economod Mania Tour provides action backed, door-2-door racing, featuring the best Economod drivers from the Tri-state region.
MECHANICS RACE FORMAT
• One Mechanics Heat Race per division
• All divisions included except Super Late Models
• BUT — if we get at least 4 mechanics from the Super Late Model teams, we’ll ADD the class!
Mechanics: Your shot to shine has arrived. Drivers: Time to hand over the keys and the toggle switch. Fans: You’ll want to film EVERYTHING.
