Local History Program: Vincent Powers

Learn about Chautauqua County’s most accomplished horseman, Vincent Powers. Powers was America’s leading flat track jockey in both 1908 and 1909. He won the 1909 Kentucky Deby aboard Wintergreen. He was inducted into the National Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 2015. This program is presented by Randy Anderson, President, Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame.
