Little Chefs!

This series will focus on relationship building/ bonding with your children through several evidenced based techniques. Over the course of the 4 weeks we will support you in your goals for your family while you and your littles get to have fun cooking together! The process of cooking with our children has been shown to improve the bond between parent and child, and we are just so excited to see our Little (and Big) chefs bloom!

Due to the nature of this program, we needed a larger space with Kitchen availability. We are so fortunate that the Westfield YWCA was willing to partner with us for this event. I know for some of our Silver Creek families, the drive is a little longer than our normal programs, but what a great opportunity for you and your kiddos to chat on the ride home about all the fun things you did together! And the village of Westfield is so beautiful and serene! You should check out their library while there too!

They also have a gym we can use and an outdoor picnic area.

Here is the breakdown of the sessions:

Session 1- Sunday June 8 at Noon- Just the Big Chefs for this session (parent/ guardian). This is when we will explore your goals and chat about the upcoming sessions. If you do not have child care available, feel free to bring your kiddos and we can do some activities with the kiddos in the gym while you get the information.

Session 2- Friday June 13 at 5:30pm- We will cook dinner together!

Session 3- Sunday June 29 at Noon- We will cook a picnic lunch together and eat outdoors (weather pending)

Session 4- Sunday July 6 at Noon- We will cook a dessert together and celebrate completion of the program!

This program is for all ages of kiddos!
