Jamestown NY 2026 Holiday Parade
A VERY MERRY JOURNEY THROUGH TIME!
The Jamestown NY Holiday Parade is arguably one of the largest celebrations in our region, and we’re getting ready for another unforgettable night in Downtown Jamestown!
Saturday, December 5, 2026
6:00 PM
Downtown Jamestown
“A Very Merry Journey Through Time” will serve as the cherry on top of the sundae as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary while also looking ahead to 2027, when we’ll celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Jamestown being recognized as the first village in Chautauqua County!
And now it’s time for our parade participants to start thinking about those FLOATS!
We know our participants always come up with incredible ideas, and we’re sure this year will be no different!
Maybe your float will take us back through time by celebrating:
Classic holiday carols we’ve all grown up loving
Classic Christmas decorations and toys
Beloved Christmas movies from generations past
Old-school department store Christmas windows that made the holiday season magical
Favorite traditions or tv shows from years gone by
Or maybe you’ll take us ALL THE WAY INTO THE FUTURE with the newest gadgets, trends and modern holiday traditions!
The possibilities are endless — and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
And keeping with our Holiday Parade tradition, we’ll cap off the evening with an INCREDIBLE fireworks spectacular from Tracy Plaza, featuring a special touch of patriotic cheer!
But wait… THERE’S MORE!
THE FLOAT CONTEST IS BACK!
You asked for it… and we delivered!
This year’s parade committee is bringing back the Float Contest, with multiple categories to give our creative parade participants another opportunity to showcase their incredible work!
More information on the categories, prizes and judging will be announced soon, so STAY TUNED!
We know you’ll all reach deep into that bag of holiday tricks and come up with some of the most creative, spectacular and memorable floats we’ve ever seen!
