Jamestown’s “Old Northside,” which was located between 4th Street and the Chadakoin River, now makes up the city’s greater downtown. Discover the stories of the people and businesses that thrived there in the early 1800s throughout the 1950s. This two-hour tour begins and ends at the Fenton History Center (67 Washington Street). Tour guide is Heather Olson. Cost is $12 for non-members and $8 for members. Pre-register online, at the Fenton, or by phone at 716-664-6256. There is a limit of 20 people for each tour.
