Historic Tours: Churches

From the beginning Jamestown residents had faith. It took a few years for it to manifest itself into the form of wood and stone. Learn about the history of the many houses of worship and visit a number of the churches in Jamestown.

Participants will meet at the Jamestown Free Methodist Church, 515 E. 7th Street, Jamestown, at 10:00 a.m.

The Fenton History Center conducts historic walking tours from June to August. The cost is $8 for members and $12 for non-members. Participants can pre-register online, at the Fenton, or by phone at 716-664-6256. There is a limit of 20 people for each tour.

For the first time, we are introducing the Full Circuit History Pass, which provides individual access to all of the Fenton Historic Walking Tours throughout the 2026 season. Each pass is valid for one person. The cost is $50 for members and $80 for non-members.
