December Featured Artist Reception: Jenny Brown

Come meet our December featured artist, Jenny Brown, at her opening reception on Wednesday, December 3rd from 5:30 – 7:00pm. Jenny Brown is a dedicated art educator with 30 years of experience teaching at Southwestern High School, in Lakewood. A passionate professional artist for even longer, Jenny has cultivated a deep connection to both the classroom and the studio. Working as a painter for most of her artistic career, Jenny expanded into fiber arts in 2020. This exploration of using different materials to achieve a modern take on traditional media has been the focus since then. She works in macrame, yarns, wool, embroidery floss, and fabrics among other materials. This show is a culmination of the exploration of fibers.
