David Seehausen-As a filmmaker looking for inspiration, I became aware of and drawn to the spirit and energy of Outsider Art, artists who are not held hostage to the rules and trends that so often hold sway in the modern art world. Being largely self-taught, I identify with this freedom. I’m sure that somehow all this ends up in my work; it is who I am.
