CONSTRUCTION TECH FOR ALL: SUNY JCC
Workforce Development is introducing a new hands-on Construction Technology Program tentatively set to launch in March 2025.
The program starts at 4 PM and runs for 23 weeks.
This 350-hour comprehensive training combines real-world jobsite experience with industry-recognized certifications and credentials. Students will gain exposure to various construction trades while developing the skills needed to start a career in the field. Graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce immediately or continue into an apprenticeship program.

OSHA 10-Hour General Construction Certification
Module 2: Specialized Training

Masonry Basics & Techniques

Floor, Wall, & Roofing Systems

Ceiling Joists, Roof Framing & Stair Layout

Electrical Safety & Residential Electrical Services

Introduction to HVAC

Drain, Waste & Vent Systems

Plastic & Copper Pipe Fittings
