On Saturday, August 10th our church is hosting our 20th annual golf tournament to raise money for scholarships that are given to students from within our church attending Christian universities. However, this year we are expanding our program to include a $500 scholarship for a student attending the Chautauqua Christian Academy, as well as 5 Upward Basketball Scholarships! This will put $1,000 back into our local economy!
We are hoping for 100 golfers once again, and so we need you to come and join us with your foursome! Because this is our 20th year, we have already begun to get responses from some generous sponsors, and we are going to offer some very special prizes this year! Some of the prizes already donated are a pair of Buffalo Bills tickets, a flat-screen television, and free rounds of golf!
The cost will be $70 if sent before August 1, and $80 after. This includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, donuts, coffee, juice, hot dogs, and beverages on the course, a prize drawing, and a BBQ Dinner following the tournament at the Busti Church of God pavilion.
Registration begins at 8 am, with a shotgun start at 9 am. The BBQ Dinner after the tournament will be $15 for any non-golfers to attend!
