This event has 2 parts, so please read on!
(1) We will have a collection box at the Busti Church of God welcome center. (See the posted list of items that are being accepted.) Donations can also be dropped off on December 5 from 5 pm until about 7 at Fluvanna Community Church (side door).
(2) Volunteers are always greatly needed to receive the donations at Fluvanna Community Church, and also sort items into categories on December 5 from 5 pm until done. Come and stay as long as you like. It is helpful for Blue Star Mothers to know how many volunteers are coming from our church, so please reach out to Ronda Whitford or Jeanie Hall so we can compile a list. The actual packing event the following Saturday always has lots of people show from the community, but sorting night is SO important and they really need more help. This is a great way to join together with our community to support active military with these care packages shipped by the Blue Star Mothers organization!!
