Bemus Point’s 4th of July Fireworks | America 250 Celebration

Meet Us In The Middle for one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations Chautauqua Lake has ever seen!

This year, Bemus Point is partnering with the Village of Mayville, Skylighters of New York, and Kix Country 96.5 & 100.3 for a special America 250 fireworks collaboration across Chautauqua Lake on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

At 10PM, both Bemus Point and Mayville will launch music-synchronized fireworks displays as part of this special lake-wide celebration. Visitors in each community can tune into Kix Country 96.5 & 100.3 to experience patriotic music timed to their local fireworks show.

As part of the celebration, Bemus Point is also expanding its traditional fireworks display into an extended 25 minute show in honor of America’s 250th anniversary!

The fireworks will launch from barges in Bemus Bay and can be viewed from the village park, Lakeside Drive, boats, docks, and locations all around Bemus Point and Chautauqua Lake.

Both Bemus Point and Mayville are also working to pipe the synchronized music into public viewing areas so visitors can experience the soundtrack together throughout the communities.

This event is organized by the Bemus Point Business Association in collaboration with community partners and is funded entirely through sponsorships and donations.

We are currently looking for business sponsors and community partners to help support this expanded regional celebration. Sponsors will receive recognition throughout our event marketing and promotional campaign leading up to the Fourth of July weekend.
