Autumn Encounters: Experiencing the Seasonal Beauty of Dobbins Woods

October 3 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us as we explore Autumn’s seasonal secrets and encounter trees, flowers, ferns, fungi, and colorful foliage awaiting us along the meandering trails of Dobbins Woods.

Celebrate Autumn’s vibrant beauty, crisp cool air, and the community of woodland trees, flowers, ferns, and other forest life as we experience the lovely trails of this special preserve together. Breathe in the season and find refreshment and renewal in the midst of the natural world. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or simply looking for a peaceful way to enjoy the season, we’d love to have you join us for this colorful autumn adventure!

This guided walk will be lead by Becky Nystrom. Becky is a founding CWC board member, past CWC president and board chair, retired professor of biology, passionate conservationist, and lover of all things botanical. She greatly enjoys “woods-walking” and sharing the natural world with others.
