We are excited to launch the 2025 Season of Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse Artist in Residence. The Artists will be at our place for a week doing live art, talking to the curious, and showing off their talent. Every Friday at 6 pm, we will have an artist reception for the artist of the week. Come support them and their work.

Richard Stuttle!

Richard Stuttle is an accomplished artist, author, healer, and spiritual educator whose work integrates creativity, spirituality, and the healing arts. Renowned for his evocative paintings and his transformative workshops, Richard is dedicated to inspiring personal growth and connection through self-expression, personal healing, and well-being.

Richard’s artistic journey began at an early age, fuelled by a fascination with the natural world and its ability to evoke emotion. Over the years, his work has gained international recognition for its ability to capture light and atmosphere in landscapes, portraits, and abstract compositions. His paintings are often described as meditative and transformative, inviting viewers to explore deeper emotional and spiritual layers.

Spirit Art & Mediumship. Richard is a certificate holder of the Spiritualists National Union for Art, speaking and demonstrating mediumship (CSNU). He is a specialist tutor and facilitator at the Arthur Findlay College, the world-renowned center for spiritual development, mediumship, and psychic studies. He combines his artistic expertise and spirit art with his deep understanding of spirituality, which explores the connections between creativity, intuition, and self-discovery.

Healing Artist & Human Alignment. Richard studied at the Harry Edwards Foundation. Completing the two-year training course. He is a certified energy healer with Harry Edwards and is registered with UK Healers. Richard also sits on the board of trustees, supporting the sanctuary and helping to push the importance of healing in today’s world.

Richard’s artistic and healing workshops are immersive experiences designed to inspire participants to unlock their creative potential while moving into a space of holistic well-being. His sessions often blend artistic techniques, such as painting, drawing, and intuitive art with practices rooted in the healing arts, including creative mindfulness and energetic intuition. Through these workshops, people are guided to explore their inner world, release emotional blockages, and express their unique energy through different creative mediums.

Richard believes that art is not merely a form of self-expression but also a powerful tool for healing and transformation. His workshops are tailored to meet diverse needs, ranging from personal growth retreats to group sessions focused on collective energy work and creative collaboration. His sincere hope is that people leave his sessions with renewed inspiration, a deeper understanding of themselves, and practical tools for incorporating creativity and healing into their daily lives.

Whether through his paintings, workshops, or healing practices, Richard Stuttle inspires others to embrace their unique journey of self-expression and well-being. His work embodies the idea that creativity and healing are interwoven pathways leading to personal and spiritual transformation.

Richard is a published author and a founder of Caroline’s Rainbow Foundation. A charity created after the passing spirit of his sister in 2002. The charity promotes travel safety to the next generation of backpackers and world travelers. In 2021 Pegasus Publishers published, ‘Chasing Rainbows – the Stolen Future of Caroline Ann Stuttle.’ The book is an insightful real-life story of ordinary people who found themselves in extraordinary circumstances. It is a turbulent journey through the devastating impact of the murder of Caroline Ann Stuttle. The story is told from her brother’s perspective after a phone call at 4:30 a.m. in the French Alps changed his world forever.
