4th Annual Heron Kickoff Barnapalooza Hoedown

It’s happening again, y’all.

Grab your crew, ditch your tent stakes for a spell, and wander down to the south end of The Heron for the 4th Annual Heron Kickoff Barnapalooza Hoedown — the unofficially official launch party of the Great Blue Heron Music Festival.

Entry: Totally FREE

Presented in partnership with the Heron family and the lovable mischief-makers at PFM Ventures, this year’s Barnapalooza will once again transform the barn into a beacon of music, dance, and community. Whether you’re already wristbanded up or still sitting bumper-to-bumper at the edge of the farm, come join the pre-fest party.

Expect three knock-out sets, an onsite food truck keeping you fueled, and cold drinks flowing until the floor gets good and stomped.

5:00–6:30p — Mikee Strongmen (@20k_strongmen)
Grit, groove, and just enough gravel to get your boots tapping.

7:00–8:30p — Tyler Westcott (and friends) (@folkfaces)
A Heron staple. Catch him and friends before he hosts the Tiger Maple Stage all weekend long.

9:00–12:00a+ — Eastern Boys in Western Shirts
By the time these fellas finish, it’ll be July 4th somewhere. Raucous, rowdy zydeco until the cows come home.

 Come early. Stay late. Dance like no one has cell service.
