Welcome to Learning on the Lake – Stitching at Chautauqua! Join us for a relaxing 3 days of quilting by the beautiful Chautauqua Lake. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced quilter, this event is perfect for anyone looking to learn new techniques or just enjoy some time learning, laughing, and stitching by the water.
The event will take place Nov 1st – 4th 2026 at Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. Starting Sunday evening with refreshments and a lecture trunk show. Monday – Wednesday will be packed FULL of FUN, Techniques, Tricks and Inspiration.
Each day you will enjoy an all-day hands-on class from 3 of the best in the industry.
Each student will be supplied with a fabric kit for each project. You will be provided with fabrics to finish 3 projects! You may bring your own machine or rent one if you travel or do not want to haul yours. You will need to provide is an open mind and heart and be ready to be creative and have FUN!
Grab your favorite supplies and come join us for 3 days of creativity and camaraderie. Don’t forget to bring a friend or two!
Breakfast and lunch will be provided Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. Dinner and lodging will be on your own. Please contact them at (716) 489-2800 for accommodations and reservations. The Harbor Hotel is a gorgeous place to stay with an indoor-outdoor Lakehouse Tap & Grille as an option for dinner.
