The Chautauqua Lake Dragon Boat Committee is pleased to announce the 2024 race is scheduled for August 10, 2024, at Lucille Ball Memorial Park, Celoron, NY.
This event offers a unique opportunity for your club, business, family, or organization to become involved in a fun team-building event and fundraiser to benefit Chautauqua Lake.

Last year, 15 teams from local businesses & community groups competed in the 2023 races on Chautauqua Lake held at the beautiful Celoron Park. Participants, co-workers, friends, and family shared an enjoyable and entertaining afternoon of friendly competition. We hope to see those teams, plus many new ones, in the water this August.

All awards are created locally by the Resource Center Creation Art Program.
Prizes will also be given to the most interactive and best-dressed drummers!

The CHQ Dragon Boat Race has 2 divisions:
• 20-person Team (20 Paddlers, 1 Drummer)
• 10-person Team (10 Paddlers, 1 Drummer)
Crews do not require prior experience participants simply need the desire to enjoy a friendly, team-building athletic competition! Proceeds will benefit the Chautauqua Lake Association.
