The evening will be filled with bluegrass and stripped-down root rock music. Erie, PA’s Smilo & The Ghost continue to rise in the music scene and acquire quite a fan base. They have recently celebrated the release of their newest album “Twang and Fire.” Jamestown’s Charity Nuse & Sara Rafaloski combine their creative talents to make an irresistible duo. Their stripped-down songs allow the audience to deeper explore the music and lyrics. A founding member of Big Leg Emma, Charity continues the musical vibe of the beloved group. Sara is also a member of the bluegrass outfit Deep Friend & Dipped in Honey.
Chautauqua Art Gallery will have local artists Susan Simmons, Sandra Maggio, and Aleida Foulk displaying their work and demonstrating their craft.
Ladysong-US will do a live demonstration of yarn dyeing at 6 pm.
Rose & Grace Studio – XO Erica Rose LLC – will be hosting painting by Patti, Two separate workshops, 5:30-6:30 p.m. & 6:30-7:30p.m. Bring a friend and paint each other (face, arm, leg).
Liquid Monkey – Shop owner, Grant Robinson, will be blowing glass in his shop window. Take a peek at the incredible craft in progress.
Paint Day Downtown – Grab your paints, painting supplies, a chair, or a blanket and set up at the Liquid Monkey/The Crystal Bodhi Tree or across the street at Potters Terrace! Join Justine from Dangerruss Art, Grant from the Liquid Monkey and Angel from Crystal Bodhi Tree for a fun day of painting! Painting fun runs from 2 to 5:30 pm.
Art Cloth & Craft – Art Cloth and Craft will host a jewelry artist from 5 – 8 pm., demonstrating jewelry carving for casting molds and simple jewelry-making techniques. They will also be offering a jewelry cleaning clinic – bring in your own jewelry for cleaning.
BioDome Project will be open until 7 pm showcasing their local artisan wares and regionally sourced food products.
The Pine Cone Creamery will have chalk out for creating your own artistic creations on the sidewalk.
Pearl City Clay House will host a Pottery Throwdown from 5 – 6 pm. and from 6 to 8 pm host the closing reception for Imposter Syndrome, an art show featuring Joe Rice and Joseph Grice.
