Curiosity Club: SCA

Always wanted to try a new hobby, but didn’t know where to start? Curiosity Club invites patrons to experience new interests for 4-6 weeks, enjoy light refreshments, and learn more about the activities Jamestown has to offer.

During the month of March, learn about gardening with Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardeners. Topics include starting indoor seedlings, gardening basics, and lawn care.

In April, explore with the Society for Creative Anachronism – Founded in 1966, SCA encourages research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat and culture. Join us to learn their kingdom name, enjoy historic food prepared by local members, experience working with metal and other elements, learn about historic battle and armor, and more!
