A Workshop for Writers- I want to write a book. Now what?

Catherine D’Agostino will be on hand at the Patterson Library on Tuesday, March 31 from 3-4, to offer insight to writers – aspiring and established – on ways to develop a book idea into a plan. Just as painting a room requires preparation before beginning, so does writing a manuscript. She will specifically discuss the options available when choosing an audience, genre, and point of view, along with organizational methods to help keep writers on track. The presentation will end with a Q&A. D’Agostino won’t evaluate book pitches, recommend publishers, or discuss formatting documents; her focus will be on the writing process.
