Mollie McKinley: Artist in Residence

Creativity is alive and well at Sacred Grounds! We are so excited to announce our Artists in Residence for the 2026 season 

Next up: Mollie McKinley  (Aug 17th – Aug 22nd)

ARTIST BIO: Mollie is an interdisciplinary artist based in the Hudson Valley, working with photography, light, glass, and sculpture to materialize the ethereal and visceral dimensions of nature consciousness. Grounded in research spanning hermetic alchemy, disability studies, and contemporary death practices, her work challenges taboos around the grotesque within earthly embodiment.

PROJECT STATEMENT: Returning to Lily Dale, McKinley will photograph sites where elemental phenomena and non-bodied presence appear to converge: from tangles of dislodged water lilies, to opaline blooms of diatoms along the wetland edges.
