More FREE Rabies Immunization Clinics

Chautauqua County residents, bring your cats, dogs, and ferrets to a Free Rabies Immunization Clinic! Clinics will be held Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Town of Gerry Highway Dept., 4675 NY-60, Gerry; Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Sherman Town Buildings, 111A Mill Street, Sherman; and Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Taylor Fire Training Center, 240 Harrison Street, Jamestown. Pre-registration is required, and animals must be at least 3 months old to receive their first rabies vaccine (NYS requires animals over 4 months old to be vaccinated). On clinic day, bring your pet’s previous rabies vaccination record to receive a 3-year vaccination — dogs must be on a leash (small dogs may be in carriers), and cats and ferrets must be in a container. Pre-register and find more information by scanning the QR code on the flyer or visiting HealthyCHQ.com/Rabies. This clinic is sponsored by the Chautauqua County Health Department, co-sponsored by the Town of Gerry, Town of Sherman, and City of Jamestown. Questions can be directed to the Chautauqua County Health Department at 716-753-4481.
