Town of Randolph Bicentennial Celebration

Celebrating 200 years of Community, Heritage and Pride!
The Bicentennial Celebration kicks off with a Parade of Eras on Saturday, August 15 at 10:30 am.
Eric Jones will be sculpting a custom sand sculpture in the Triangle August 12-14.
The Celebration will take place at Weeden Park from 2:00 – 10:00.
Live music by the Hanna’s (2:30 – 4:30), JB Martin and the Smokin’ Dog (5:00 – 7:00) and the Porcelain Bus Drivers (7:30 – 9:30).
Children’s activities, which include a bounce house and carnival games by Fire Guys Bounce Houses and a Petting Zoo with Pony rides by Pony Parties will entertain the kids for free from 2:00 – 6:00.
Fun contests such as:
The Beard Contest with prizes for Longest Beard, Best Historic Look-alike, Most Creative Beard and Best Mustache.
The Period Dress Contest with prizes for the Best and Second-Best Homemade costume.
The Pie and Baked Goods Contest – bakers can enter 9″ Pies, Cakes or cupcakes and cookies. All entries will be auctioned off at 4:30.
The day ends with an explosive fireworks display.
