Chautauqua Theater Company is proud to present the DNAWORKS Production of ‘The Real James Bond…Was Dominican’ — a riveting one-man performance created and performed by the dynamic Christopher Rivas.

Inspired by real events, this unique production uncovers the untold story of Porfirio Rubirosa — the Dominican diplomat, playboy, and alleged inspiration for Ian Fleming’s 007. Through personal storytelling, humor, and multimedia, ‘The Real James Bond…Was Dominican’ is a young man’s guide to love, color, code-switching, white-washing, fake-it-til-you-make-it, and the roller coaster of finding one’s true self.

Developed with and directed by DNAWORKS co-founder Daniel Banks, this production blends history, family, and pop culture into a fast-paced, thought-provoking evening of theater you won’t forget!
