Groundhog Day Auditions!

The Lucille Ball Little Theatre of Jamestown invites you to audition for our upcoming production of Groundhog Day: The Musical, a hilarious and heartwarming tale of self discovery, second chances, and small town charm.

About the Show:

Follow Phil Connors, a cynical Pittsburgh TV weatherman, as he is sent to Punxsutawney to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities. What starts as just another assignment quickly turns into a bewildering time loop, forcing Phil to relive February 2nd over and over again. Through a series of comedic misadventures including awkward encounters with townsfolk, misguided attempts at wooing, and even a few ill fated escapades, Phil embarks on a journey of transformation. Can he break the cycle and discover the true meaning of life and love?

Audition Details:

Dates: Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th

Time: 6PM

Location: Lucille Ball Little Theatre, 18 East 2nd Street (Please Use First Street Jr. Guilders Entrance)

What to Prepare:

Vocal: One complete song of your choice. Please bring sheet music in your desired key. A rehearsal accompanist will be provided.

Dance: After the singing portion, actors will be taught a brief dance combination. Wear comfortable attire suitable for movement.
